Arts4Kids Club will be having its annual Kick-off Event September 18th and 19th at the Kingsport Renaissance Center. The featured artist will be “Conductor” Jack Norton and his band the Zinghoppers.  Jack Norton is an award-winning children's musician, educator and television host. He specializes in performing original, organic music for families and is committed to bringing age-appropriate music to children in a gentle and friendly manner. His music has been described as "Leon Redbone meets Sesame Street Live" by Billboard Magazine.

Toot! Toot! Join Conductor Jack and the Zinghoppers for an old-time, foot-stompin', hand-clappin', organic, feel-good hootenanny for children and their families! Arts4Kids Outreach will be at the Riverview Boys and Girls Club and at the Lee Family Center on Friday September 18th.
Come join us for a daytime performance in the Kingsport Renaissance Center Theater at 10am on the 18th.  Tickets will be $3 in advance with discounts given for block seating reservations, and $5 at the door.
The Arts4Kids Club workshop will be a song writing workshop from 10-11:30am on September 19th. Children will join Jack and the band in creating a new and totally original song that will be featured at the evening concert. All participants will receive a free ticket to that evening’s concert and will be invited to join Jack in performing their song.
The evening show will take place at 7pm on September 19th in the Kingsport Renaissance Center Theater. Tickets will be $5 for children, $10 for seniors and students, and $12 for adults. Discounts will be given for block seating reservations. Space is limited for all events, to reserve tickets call the Arts Council at (423) 392-8420.
